Setup
To use the account updater service, you need to have the service enabled. To have the batch account updater enabled on your instance, please fill out this form. The enrollment happens directly with the card schemes and may take up to two weeks. The customer support team may reach out with more questions if needed. If you’re already enrolled for this service with the schemes, filling out the form is still required to set up the necessary data points in the systems as well as the downstream partner’s system. Next, the scheduler needs to be set up, which requires a change to be made on your instance. When you fill in the form, please select if you want to use the scheduler or not.Usage and limitations
- The entire content of the vault is updated every 12 days, allowing for 2 full updates within 1 calendar month
- You are only charged for cards that are updated
- Any card already submitted to the account updater in some other way does not get submitted as part of the scheduler
- Any card already updated but pending its first use in the vault does not get updated until the new card has been automatically used. This may happen when a card is updated, but the old card is still in use.
- Only Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are supported by the account updater, and any others are ignored by the scheduler
- Any cards previously marked as dead (
LCA) are ignored
